I just left the emergency room because my friend and I were waiting to get admitted and the security guard came straight over to us and told us that only patients were allowed in the waiting area and that he told several others the same thing which he did not. My friend went outside, I sat there and watched others come in and sit down with their partners and he never said a word to any of them. I Left and called him on it, he had the nerve to tell me they were all minors. I never have experienced blatant homophobia like this. Never again.

Just got back from the ER with my 90 year old mother with a broken arm. What a clown show. There was more grab arse, joking around, and laughing than there was work. About a half hour to see the doc (Brown). Moms in extreme pain. Orders pain meds and x-rays. Half hour later nurse comes by to give her Tylenol. TYLENOL, REALLY, for a broken bone?? We told her to do better. 20 mins later I find a nurse to find out about pain meds, "I'll go find out". 20 minutes later I find another nurse, that probably did not deserve my wrath, never the less Norco was given 10 minutes later. Finally x-rays and ct got done. Went fine, other then every place smelled like vomit.... read full review

This review is for the ER lobby. Kathy, the RN that checks you in, is the best. I have been to quit a few ER lobby and Kathy is the best at her job. Such a caring person, I noticed she goes above and beyond with helping every single person that came in contact with her. I hope Desert Regional knows exactly how great she is.
