In a world of HVAC con men, you can trust them to be reasonable and have your interests in mind.
My HVAC system had a leak a few years ago. Chris E came out and could not find the issue at first, but refilled my refrigerant and came back later. He, the owner John(?), and others came out 4-5 times and spent approximately 8-10 hours total over a year trying to find my leak. They also conducted a dye test, and provided heaters when it went out during the winter. After they found the leak, I was very concerned about the cost given the amount of time they had spent. We have relied on Golden Aire Heating and Air Conditioning for all our service and replacement needs for many years. They just replaced our unit on 8/28 and as always they were very knowledgeable, professional, friendly and got a new unit ordered, delivered and installed in record time, which was a godsend during our recent heatwave.
