We went to Dr Maverick because he took our insurance-i watched him as he worked on my husband- He closed his eyes, as if he was in a meditation, as he checked for the proper movement and then he adjusted- it was a simple, yet I believe, very intuitive and educated adjustment. This is a no frills, very calm environment and he fixed us both - very effectively!

I don't normally write reviews but I felt Dr. Maverick deserved it. My husband and I scheduled appointments in hopes that dr. Maverick could help us and he did. I was in a bad car accident two years ago where I hurt my neck really bad. Since then, I have not been able to use a pillow to go to sleep and my neck hurts all the time. In one visit he relieved soooo much of the pain and gave me back so much range in motion. I cried when I got home because it had been so long since I felt this way (not moody from the pain). No joke- one of the best adjustments I’ve ever had! Maverick’s office is a no fuss, no frills set up but the adjustment was fantastic! I threw my back out while visiting Ojai from out of state. Usually, when visiting somewhere it’s hard to get a quick adjustment without paperwork and xrays, etc; not true here. Maverick also took the time to work on the tissue surrounding the affected joint so that I was able stand up and use my back immediately! The price for the work was also fantastic. Couldn’t recommend more!
