From the moment we walked in, every single person was kind, calm and genuinely passionate about birds. You can feel immediately that this is a place where birds are deeply understood and truly loved. The facility itself is spotless, modern and incredibly well run. It honestly exceeded every expectation I had.
The level of care Frankie received was extraordinary. The team was unbelievably gentle, patient and attentive with him. Watching how carefully and respectfully they handled him put me completely at ease. It never felt rushed or clinical. It felt thoughtful, intentional and compassionate.
This place is life saving and awesome! They helped my conure through a scary ordeal and that saved him and me!
I called them from an emergency vet exam room, when I realized there was no one on staff at the moment who could deal appropriately with avian issues.
They found a spot to get me in right away and off I flew. I was seen promptly upon arrival by an excellent vet, Dr. Baden, who started figuring out what was wrong with my little guy and who was gracious enough to reach out to their most experienced vet and founder.

My friends and I brought in an injured feral Khaki Campbell duck that we rescued from a nearby pond on Veterans Day, and I cannot express how grateful we are for the compassion and professionalism of the entire Medical Center for Birds team. Linda, at the front desk, was incredibly kind and got us seen right away -even without an appointment, and on a holiday.
Dr. Speer and his staff were gentle, patient, and incredibly thorough. The duck had a fishing lure hooked through her tongue, preventing her from opening her beak or eating for days.
