Madrid was absolutely amazing. I went to him based on my original hairstylists referral since she was out of town and he was fantastic. Very communicative, did a great job on my hair/took his time, and educated me on how to keep it healthy - all while needing to leave to travel later that day. Bleu Champu has some of the best reviews in the East Bay for natural hair stylists and I can see why! I came in for a much needed blow out and trim after a botched DIY job I did six months ago. Madrid was attentive to my desire to keep as much length as possible while setting up my hair for optimal health. The conversation and hospitality were a lovely bonus and I felt comfortable and welcome in the salon. After washing and styling my hair a week later I’m happy to see my curls fully revert, my ends are full and even, and my hair has a cohesive shape. I cut off many many inches from my hair. I was really nervous but he was great!! Super kind and patient and he answered all of my questions really well. The end result was amazing, I’ve never felt this positive about my hair in the past. Would 100% recommend coming here
