They'll save your horse. No if ands or buts about it. Long story short, I ended up with a sickly Mare. We rushed in as soon as possible, ended up being around 10pm arrival. We chose not to admit her, instead to wait for test results at home while continuing antibiotic treatment. We were back 4 days later with the same symptoms x100. Admission was our only option at this point. Poor girl was there 20 something days, but in that time they provided my girl the best care. Dr. McDonald and Dr. Lani saved my 24-year-old mare with a rare colon stricture colic surgery They did an amazing job of explaining what was going on step-by-step and giving me all the information to make the right decision. Dr. Lani called me every day sometimes twice a day to keep me apprised of her progress. In my opinion they are the only place you should ever take your horse. Dr. Hallström and Dr. Penske were also phenomenal the day we brought Nicky in and had her x-rayed. Some people have kids our family is our animals, and Pioneer saved Nicky!

Dr. Hallstrom and her team are incredible. I just recently had pioneer out to get my horse UTD on teeth, vaccines, and deworming. I was beyond nervous because I've never had my horse's teeth done before in the few months I've had her and my horse was previously abused which makes new people and tools a challenge. However, Dr. Hallstrom and her team made the process a breeze. They worked with my horse through every step and made sure she was comfortable and safe.
