Dr Joqueta Handy is the wife of the chiropractor here. She is barely responsive if at all and blames it on her email even though we had communicated by email before but then she said she never got my emails. After my first visit when I was double booked and she told me to come back later and she called one of her staff an asshole, she scanned me and gave me a partial report and said she couldn't give me the rest and then told me it was $1100 for supplements. I will not pay $1100 for supplements and I also am sensitive to everything due to my health issues and even asked her about testing me for some of the ingredients in these elusive products that she's peddling and she never even acknowledged that I asked that. Once I didn't choose to go buy all the supplements she said to buy I then got no replies except to tell me that I should call the office and pay for another visit if I wanted an answer about something specific on the original report which was just a month and a half ago.She said she cannot look at the original report and give me that answer and that I needed to come in for another appointment. She's unethical, unprofessional and I really regret spending any money there. Most doctors are all just in it for the money and selling drugs and I thought integrative and functional would be different but that's not what I'm finding. They just peddle supplements instead.

Ive been going to Dr Handy for years. He is so nice and knowledgeable. Over the years he has helped me with minor adjustments, healing from a car accident, and through my second pregnancy which entailed some pretty bad sciatic pain. I'd recommend him to anyone who ever mentions they need a chiropractor in Orange County

Dr. Handy solved in a couple of visits the chronic pain I had been enduring for years --despite seeking help from multiple doctors and chiropractors. I cannot describe with words how very grateful I am for his expert and kind service. He has an extraordinary ability to "feel" problems and treat them. Now, about the logistics: - there is ample free parking on the adjacent parking lot - the new office space is modern and spacious - he has the latest technology and *knows* how and when to use it (or stop using it) - the staff personnel is helpful and friendly - booking a specific appointment time can be a challenge because of how busy he is (understandably and absolutely worth it for your initial visit!)

Dr. Handy is much more than a chiropractor he also uses nutrition, exercise and lifestyle advice to keep you pain free. He is thorough, knowledgeable, has converted me from skeptic to his biggest fan. I visited December 2017 with a herniated disk, i went from surgery candidate at Hoag Hospital who couldn't walk, stand, sit, eat or sleep living one pain pill to the next to pain free and off pain meds in 3 days of consecutive visits to his office.

Dr. James Handy and his staff have helped me tremendously!! Dr. Handy not only helps to treat my pain (severe osteoarthritis of both knees), but he has done do enthusiastically and professionally. He always explains the benefits of different treatments and believes in the power of combining some of these treatments. I decided to trust this approach, and now, after a few sessions, my severe knee pain has decreased and flexibility has increased. He also worked worked out a package of treatments which resulted in significant savings for me. I cannot believe that my knee pain has actually been reduced, because I had tried many other options that didn't work for me, but I am here writing this review because it has. Dr. Handy's practice is really a wellness center, and they have proven a real blessing during a very difficult time in my life. His staff is very welcoming and supportive, too! I look forward to continuing my journey to wellness with the help of Dr. Handy and his staff. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM!!

Dr Handy is a great chiropractor! I had a shoulder issue which he was able to resolve in about 2 weeks. If you're in the irvine area and have any injury or back trouble, you should definitely go to him!

Dr Handy is a miracle worker! I've gone to him on and off for many years. Anytime I've had neck, back, muscle issues, he has used multiple techniques to help me heal. It's worked every time. He even helped cure me of plantar fasciitis. I'm currently under his care for a muscle strain injury from Tennis. I HIGHLY recommend him!!!

Awesome Chiropractor! Thorough and technical. As an out of town athlete and a bigger guy, I was very lucky to get an appointment with Dr Handy and he did an amazing therapy session!Update:Came back today for another appointment. I wish I could see Dr. Handy more frequently. His general approach and thorough application of chiropractic care leaves me in better health every time. I'm sure I'd be 100% if I could finish my therapy here.

Dr Handy is awesome. He is so thoughtful and good at what he does. I was so anti-chiropractors however one day when I was dizzy he said come on back let me try something on you, and my vertigo was gone within minutes. He is not overzealous to crack bones and is conservative. I liked him so much that I brought my 13-year-old daughter into see him. And he gives her relief after treating her back . He is a good man and chiropractor.
