I called to ask about getting some initials tattooed on my finger (really small, would've been hidden by my wedding ring) and the guy said he wouldn't do it since I only have one tattoo, said it's a "rite of passage." What a sad life he must have to be gatekeeping someone from wanting to get more ink.

I had my 60th birthday 2 weeks ago, I sent Brittney some pics she never responded.A friend of mine was going to pay for my tattoo but we had a falling out.I figured I want this I’ve been wanting it for years.I texted Brittney at 8 am on the 17th yesterday October.Confirmed our appt asked for a quote.She confirmed back.I showed up this morning and the doors were locked I sent her a text.No answer I sent another she says my friend cancelled my appointment.It was my appointment not my friends it was my arm we agreed on the price and time and date but she let my friend cancel the appointment?It’s so unprofessional I spent my day off looking forward to getting my tattoo upgraded and she tells me maybe I can reschedule.Then she says she doesn’t want to deal with me any longer I didn’t do anything to her I was very respectful .I’m completely bummed and I’ve had to spend my day looking for another artist.She handled this situation in a very unprofessional manner.My arm my time my money..Period.Tamara

Alex was absolutely fabulous and made me the perfect tattoo in memoriam of my Grandma and honoring my psychiatrist. I couldn’t have asked for a better tattoo! I will definitely be getting another with her in the future!

I met with Alex at English Tattoo Company about a full sleeve tattoo with a nautical theme. I didn't know the first thing about how a full sleeve is done so i trusted her when she said she knew how to do it and that it will end up looking great. I showed her a photo of what type I was looking for, you know, a little inspiration. What I ended up with looks like a coloring page that your kid would get along with the child's menu at a cheap restaurant. Turns out that IN MY CASE, Alex had no idea what she was doing. She just placed pictures on my arm and then outlined them. The images are small and you cant put on any detail. For example, look at the ship, If i try to have that colored in, its going to look like a Jackson Polock painting, "what the hell is it?". After talking with other artists I learned a full design should of been drawn out and laid onto my arm, Alex didn't do this, She just had little images she randomly placed on my arm. I ended up with these ridiculous arm tattoos that are now costing me $6000 to get removed. Do yourself a favor, if you go to English Tattoo, do not have Alex give you a sleeve Tattoo, or you will end up with a 6k removal bill. Ridiculous work!

This place is great. Came in as a walk in, and they were able to accommodate me right away. My tattoo artist was Chris Winn. He designed exactly what I wanted, and did a wicked good job. Everyone here was very friendly. Definitely recommend.
