About LA Fitness

LA Fitness offers a variety of amenities at an excellent value. The gym features state-of-the-art equipment, a pool, saunas, and more. Members appreciate the clean and friendly environment, with some praising the trainers for their helpfulness. The gym is often quiet, making it easy to use any machine needed. There are lots of classes in the main fitness room or upstairs cycling, and the track that goes all around the second floor is good if you’re not feeling the treadmill. The facility also has a really hot sauna, a heated pool, and plenty of space in the rectangular-style jacuzzi. However, the building is old and could use some remodeling. Sometimes, it gets crowded, and the air conditioning isn't turned on regularly. Additionally, the facilities can be dirty, and the reception staff is often unfriendly. Overall, LA Fitness provides a good workout experience, but members may be disappointed by personnel changes or the condition of the building.

Good location to workout if you in National City area. Building is a bit old and could use some remodeling I know it probably already has cuz it’s an old building. But for the basics it’s good come get your machine on, cables, if your lucky and depends what time you come get a bench. But honestly, just ask I’ve experienced considerate people that either tell you how many sets they got left but still willing to give ya that bench time. Jose forged a membership document that was never presented to my sister after he charged her card 250.00 after saying he said he needed to put a card on file. She came in to inquire about membership and training. She spoke with a John afterwards who called her on 3 way with a district manager and she was then told they would refund her and that Jose was wrong and did not sign her up correctly. Jose then called to ask what John said and I told him “cause I answered “ he was wrong because he never asked if she agreed to charges, never asked her to sign anything and charged her card. The facilities are generally in good condition, but it gets too crowded, the air conditioning isn't turned on regularly, the facilities are dirty, and the reception staff is very unfriendly.
