CPAP can give you sinus infection. New equipment 3 times, sinus infection 3 times. By the 3rd night, each time I was sick. I had to take more antibiotics (not prescribed by Dr. Garfield) in 9 months than in my entire life, which, through blood tests, damaged my liver. Each time I told Dr. Garfield, about the problem, he continued to tell me I was wrong. Now my liver is, hopefully, in recovery mode. Sinus issues don't happen to everyone, especially within 3 days of new equipment. If it does happen to you, find a doctor who will listen, a Doctor who will find out why, and a Doctor who will seek alternatives.
I feel like I'm in bizarro world walking into this practice. I'm coming here trying to figure out why I'm wheezing and getting pneumonia months after recovering from COVID, and receptionists and respiratory therapists are in surgical masks or nothing, and the waiting room is shoulder to shoulder without a mask in sight, and no indoor ventilation.
This facility is the worst, it is impossible to speak to anyone on the phone as all calls go directly to voicemail. I received a referral for community care from the VA and left 4 messages to schedule an appointment and they have all been ignored. Not only do I not recommend this facility but I plan to reach out to the VA and suggest that they remove them from their providers list.
