They waste wayyyy too much of my time with bs texts and emails and the app AND ALL THE CALL CENTERS SUCK. Those employees are concerned with the wrong stuff. They sat on my Rx for over 10 days THEN LIED TO ME about when my Dr sent the Rx to them. No matter the day , the time or the department ITS GOING TO TAKE A VERY LONG TIME. All around Kaiser the cult is too much. I HATE how they try to shove nps down your throat. The reason im paying for insurance is get medical care from DOCTORS. I could go on and on with facts and receipts to back it up. I know kp doesn’t care to hear it so I will send it all to the insurance commissioner and encourage others to do the same.

Today, the pharmacist tried to avoid substituting a large tablet antibiotic for the same antibiotic that is available as suspension. The patient in question has metastatic lung and throat cancer and is at high risk for choking.
Pharmacists may substitute a prescribed medication with another product that contains the same active chemical ingredients in the same strength, quantity, and dosage form, following the United States Adopted Names (USAN) system and FDA standards. This is most commonly applicable to generic substitution, but California Business and Professions Code § 4073 and recent amendments expand these rights to allow therapeutic interchanges, such as different formulations within a drug class, upon patient consent and unless the prescriber explicitly prohibits substitution or change by marking “Do not substitute”.
Patients please never feel bad, ashamed, or embarrassed to ask the pharmacy staff for this type of help. It is their job.

My son has waited over 8 weeks for “approved” speech therapy. Kaiser shows zero urgency to children’s needs. They are not properly staffed and have horrible customer service. I’ve filed so many grievances and still nothing gets done. If possible choose a different hmo or ppo plan.

Our pediatrician, Dr. Sandra Baik, is the best! She's always attentive, kind, and she takes the time to answer my and my boyfriend's questions and concerns about our daughter. She doesn't rush us, like other doctors have in the past. The phlebotomists have also been great at taking our daughter's blood samples. I will say, I didn't care for the wait. I've been checked in and had to wait 25-30 minutes past my appointment time, and in the pediatric clinic (which is on the second floor) there is no receptionist to assist or update you on your wait status. It can be frustrating when you have an infant and you see people who've checked in after you be seen ahead of you. So that's a downside.

I am so angry with the care my mother in law received here. 1. Everyone seems to be new and confused on checking people in. 2. The doctors lack bedside manner and are NOT systematic to people with mental health issues. 3. If you're a senior or have a history of mental illness don't expect to have anyone listen to you about yours symptoms. I fully did not expect to have to escort my mother in law to EVERY ONE of her appointments to make sure she's not treated poorly. This is place a prime example of how broken our medical system is. We came to Kaiser for the convenience of not having to wait for referrals but it's not worth it.

Dr. Chen spent his time actually LISTENING to my concerns and addressed every one of them.
