Friday 02/24 was my first prenatal appointment there, with Dr. Liu. I called out from work in order to make it, and took public transportation/walked there in the pouring rain (at 32 weeks pregnant) only to be told upon arrival that she had called out and cancelled the appointment. Eight hours of pay lost for no reason. Okay, whatever. Monday, 02/27 (today) was my 1 year old's check up with the same doctor, Dr.Liu. Again, it was too short notice to request the day off work so I had to call out. At 8:56am I receive a message saying the appointment had been cancelled. The absolute worst hospital experience I have ever had. I have worked in a hospital before, so I understand that it may be a little stressful. However, I feel like I need to leave a review because The receptionists are extremely rude, underqualified, and should not be working in the medical field at all. They were treating my mother who doesn't speak English well like a child, and We got so upset that we left. When we confronted them about the instructions given over the phone the night before, the receptionist said "That's not my fault, the callcenter is separate" As if they didn't work for the same facility. The receptionist at this location are the worst. I have been going here for about 3 months. This is the second time the receptionist have used their power and abused a patient with a learning and mental disability. They should be ashamed of themselves. Be ware
