My daughter took piano lessons here in early 2025. I authorized them to draft my bank account for the lessons. She left LA at the end of March, and told them that she would not be taking any more lessons, and to stop drafting our account. Despite this, they drafted my checking account in April, May and July for a total of over $1200. I emailed and left voicemails several times for them, asking them to contact me to resolve this issue and get a refund. My daughter actually spoke to them once on the phone and they told her that they would contact me- STILL NO RESPONSE. When a customer tells you to stop drafting their bank and you keep doing it, that's stealing. It's obvious that this place cares about one thing only, MONEY! If you take lessons here DO NOT allow them draft your bank account.

Amazing music school! Both my kids just started getting lessons from HAMA instructors via online and both learned so much within one class. Instructors are incredibly nice and patient. Everyone working at HAMA are also incredibly helpful, kind, and fast at responding emails. My children are very exited to continue learning from HAMA.

We just had our first violin session and just loved it! The teacher is so very kind and warm. And setting up our lessons was a breeze via text.

Bad customer service I made an appointment to get info about taking singing lessons, I called them to confirm. When I came it was very dark, nobody was there, I called them and they never picked up. So unprofessional!

I took piano lessons for my son at this school for about 3 years. After 3 years, he participated in his first Christmas concert. He was very excited, but he did it and I was very proud of him. After all the participants of the concert performed and the awarding began, each student was given a certificate. Each child was officially presented with a certificate on the stage and everyone stayed on it for a joint photo. So these certificates were awarded to everyone except my son and about 3 more children. So these 4 children just continued to sit on the bench and no one paid attention to them at all. It was very unpleasant, insulting and so rude. No one apologized to us. Later, when the concert was over, everyone was rewarded and everyone began to disperse, they came up and said something like: we lost your certificate, you will take it later. 0 apologies and regrets. But that's not how it works. After the concert and never again from this school they text to me, did not call, did not give me a certificate and did not apologize. It looks like it's normal for this school. My son felt terrible and asked if this meant that he was playing badly and everyone deserved this certificate except him. It was very disappointing and hurtful. I can't convey all my feelings from this situation. After 3 years, to get such a disrespectful attitude and so spoil my son's first concert at Christmas.I definitely don't recommend this school.

My son has been asking for voice lessons. It isn't easy to find male vocal coaches, and so when we won a gift certificate in a school auction for HAM I was prepared for a difficult drive across town and potential disappointment in the coaching. We have been taking lessons every week for two months now and I am so impressed! They accommodated our request for Saturday morning lessons, and he has a male coach who is helping tremendously with navigating his voice change and preparing him for upcoming musical performances. The staff has been friendly and service e has been top notch. It's completely worth the drive!

I have been taking guitar and voice classes at the Hollywood Academy since 2020, when I picked up music as a COVID hobby. Starting off online, I was skeptical about what would come out of my music lessons but the patience of my instructors, Andrew and Selena, put me at ease. Fast forward two years, my classes are the highlight of my week! The staff here are courteous, friendly, and just create a really positive vibe in the space - starting from the front desk that has never been anything less than amazeballs, to my teachers who are not just great teachers, but insanely talented musicians. The school itself has always been flexible with me regarding scheduling and I’ve aways been able to receive make ups (when I ask to reschedule my class on time). I am currently writing my own song with Selena and so can’t wait to record it. Pro tip for anyone considering the school - they have their own recording space that you can use during class to actually record what you’re working on and learn the most important tools too. Beyond grateful to everyone here for the fantastic work they do and for giving me a new amazing hobby which has turned into a passion.

Regina is a wonderful teacher. My 6-year old son turned to her after some unpleasant experience with a previous teacher who just didn’t seem to care. But now my son loves playing piano and he loves her lessons so much that he once said, “I want Regina to be my piano teacher forever!

This is a fantastic school with a wide variety of quality instructors and classes. The school provides classes for both children and adults. The staff are incredibly friendly and encouraging. Ms.Regina, the director, has greatly helped and improved my son’s piano skills.Hollywood Art Academy has exceeded our family expectations! If I am not wrong ,two years ago we were just looking for a music school to take our 12 and 9 old boys to music classes. We picked this school simply because it was close to our house. However, we have been pleasantly surprised on how professional, loving and talented they are! Our sons love the classes and look forward to them every week. This place has definitely inspire theirs skills in so many ways! I would also highlight how respectful and sensitive they have been during these past difficult months. Thank you Henry! I appreciate for your hardworking! My sons have not stopped creating music for one day despite the situation we are living thanks to the school and Ms. Regina theirsamazing teacher that inspires them everyday. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants to learn deeply.
