Bryan completed my back piece and I couldn’t be happier. The attention to detail and cover up of two old pieces is incredible. I can happily call Bryan my friend and super stoked I got tattooed at Dark Horse. Everyone there is cool with no egos. It’s the kind of shop that welcomes you!

I've had a lot of work done there, mostly American traditional and Korean-inspired art. At least a dozen visits, 160 miles round trip each time and absolutely worth it. They are that good.

i’m 5 sessions into a back piece/body suit from candi kinyobi. candi is one of the most thoughtful and considerate people i’ve met. add in the fact that she’s a great communicator and exceptional artist and you get a pretty special experience as a client. dark horse has done an incredible job of cultivating a welcoming environment with great energy and people (and artists) working there as well. in the 40ish hours i’ve spent in the shop, i’ve had nothing but positive interactions with artists and clients, and seen nothing but quality work from everybody there. candi has also been such an enjoyable person to spend so much (painful) time with. couldn’t have... read full review
