Laguna Hills Animal Hospital

My cat and my visit to Laguna Hills Animal Hospital was such a breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, I was welcomed by friendly staff and a pleasant atmosphere. The vet tech and Dr Jon were so kind and offered me sound advice that made me feel comfortable and like I could trust them with the health of my baby(cat). I can tell that the vet really has a passion for what he does and the expertise to back it up. He handled our visit with grace, answered all of my questions, and even let me know about vaccines that Latte wasn’t up-to-date on, so we could take care of that too. I never once felt like I was being pressured into care that I wasn’t seeking for my cat. The visit was reasonably priced as well. This will definitely be our new vet from now on.

I found the staff very welcoming and helpful. All my concerns for my cat were addressed. She was suffering with pancreatitis and all the diagnostic testing was done. So grateful I was able to get great care for my cat! I would highly recommend them.

Laguna Hills Animal Hospital provides compassionate and professional care from vaccines and well-checks, to diagnoses and treatment. The most touching service was the gentle, compassionate and beautiful euthanasia for my elderly dog this past summer outside in the garden with my other dog present. I'm grateful for all the support Laguna Hills Animal Hospital has provided over the life stages of my pups.

Update after 6/2025 appt:
As a cat owner, when you enter a lobby full of dogs only, you hope your vet is a cat person. I saw the bio for their new vet, Dr Duveneck, and so we saw her this time. It was the first time my little scaredy cat didn't pee in his carrier or scream all the way home. Dr Duveneck and her tech, Angel, put me and my kitty at ease. I'm looking forward to bringing my big kitty in later this year to work on his weight concerns.
Update after 12/25 appt:
This visit was with my large cat who was also comfortable with Dr. Marina Duveneck. She was very informative on his weight needs and gave many helpful details as to why he needs to return for a dental procedure. The entire staff was very helpful in describing his necessary stool and urine collection.
It can be overwhelming just getting a cat back and forth to a vet. After today I'm comfortable that all the additional procedures will go smoothly.

The experience was the best as always.

Our usual vet was temporarily closed, so we came here with our giant baby, and we were really happy with how much they were able to accommodate his… particular needs. They were so great about showing this 131 pound goober plenty of patience and love despite his freak outs. 12/10! Highly recommend!

What a great vet clinic. I've been taking my dogs here for several years. Dr. Sultzer is Mickey's vet and he's the best. If you want a terrific experience from the front counter to a doctor, you won't go wrong coming here.

These people are the absolute best. I've been bringing my dogs here since about 2008 (up to a total of five dogs now over the years). They neutered two of my dogs (the other 3 were rescues and already spayed), and helped one dog recover from a rattlesnake bite, a chipped tooth, and other calamities. They've done dental cleanings, removed a problematic tooth, removed a mouth tumor (!) that was discovered during a cleaning, and they take pictures of what they've found and the before and after.

Dr. Sultzer and Dr. Chang are always so kind, both to me and my pets. Their prices are totally reasonable, and I never feel like they're trying to guilt me or railroad me into paying for super expensive things. They give you choices, and you get to choose, and they don't make you feel weird about saying you do or don't need certain services.

Also, the staff are all so amazing. Every single one of them. They will love your pets and treat them as if they were their own. I can't recommend them enough.
