Family member had an ablation with Dr. Mitiku and we can not be happier with the result. He was very thorough and realistic with the outcome. We got enough support from the office staff to the hospital and of course the doctor himself.

Being a 71 year old, I have been under the care of many doctors. Dr. Mitiku is the most compassionate. When something goes amiss with your heart’s “electrical system”, you want him on your team. Competent, patient, and kind-HEARTED!!!!!

Trying to call the office regarding my test results for ECO. Impossible to get someone on the phone! Nobody is either calling back. Came to the office in person and asked for results. The Lady looked up the system and the ECO was still not evaluated by the Dr. She said he will be in office on the next day and she will let him check the ECO. Now two days passed and i did not receive any phone call! Some people wrote in reviews, they waited 12 weeks and never received a call regarding results! So they went to another cardiology office. Also have also read comments that say its impossible to reach someone at the office via phone call. You leave several messages to be called back, and you never get a call back. Unfortunately it’s still the problem with this office. I did experience the same. Once i was there for a Eco and waited in the waiting room, an very old man came in with his assistance nurse. He was there with his walking aid and even had his heart connected to a computer (no idea what it's called). In any case, he was very angry because he tried to call the office several times and couldn't reach anyone. He also mentioned that in his condition it was very difficult and time-consuming for him to drive to the office in person just for an appointment. As mentioned, he is dependent on an assistant nurse who drives him. The lady at the reception was nice and said that they are working on a new system for taking appointments over the phone. But it looks like it was mentioned a year ago that they were working on a system. But so far nothing has changed that would make it easier for patients to request an appointment. What century are we living in that we can't develop a system?! Really?

Dealt with Dr Nguyen a few times, but didn't get a good sense that he had time for me. He suggested scans, which were done over several visits, instead of one where they could have been combined. The insurance declined their first pre-authorization because they used the wrong code, but said it was approved when they fixed that, but I ended up having to pay a $1,200 bill for a 30 minute echo and an hour scan. When I called to ask why my bill was so high, they said it was the insurance deductible and there was nothing they could do. Very unprofessional, and not claiming any responsibility, not even giving me a heads-up about it, so there was nothing I could do. Total waste of time and money. Never again.

I had a scheduled cardiogram and the technician was pilot and professional . She explained what she was doing and made sure I was comfortable and aware of what was being done. She was friendly and efficient.
