The La Jolla/UTC facility is excellent. Not as crowded or busy as the Washington St one. Have been to both for X-rays and MRIs. Only negative experience I've had with IHS was at the Mission Valley location 5 years ago where it was crowded with patients and unsupervised children running around and misbehaving. Given a choice, I'd always prefer UCSD Hospital Imaging which is as good as you can get, however IHS is very good. It is better run today than it was 5+ years ago.

I was scared to get an MRI, these technicians made it all so cool! Heated blankets and patience.They were compassionate and comforted me immediately!They also allowed my husband to stay with me and hold my hand.What a difference that made!Highly recommend!
