If you're looking for a great cut and awesome barbers, look no further. This is the spot. We went to Black and Gold for my almost 2 year old son's haircut. We had gone somewhere else earlier in the week, where they left him looking terrible. I did some research and decided to try out black and gold.We worked with Mark who was not only a skilled and patient barber, but also a kind and warmindividual. I felt like he was an old friend. He asked what I wanted and listened to my request and off he went. The other barbers in the shop were great too and didn't mind turning down their music to put on Cocomelon for my son. I came to the black and gold east bay barber shop for the first time today on my birthday! I literally came across this shop when looking up barber shops in hayward, called the shop to see if they had any availability immediately and I spoke to mel on the phone, he was able to squeeze me in after his current client, and I was just amazed with the cleanliness of the shop and attention to detail, all barbers are extremely professional yet cool and nice to have a conversation with, nice fun environment, Mel has outstanding skills and takes pride and had confidence in his work, he did exactly what I wanted, just an awesome experience will definitely be a regular here and...read full review

The best barber shop in East Bay. Francis always takes care of my hair and his attention to detail always makes me feel at ease. Fades on point and scissors cut at a reasonable price. Give it a try and you can’t go wrong!
