Would give 0 stars if I could - AVOID AT ALL COSTS. I’m writing this to save someone else from this nightmare. My hair was healthy blonde before this appointment (photos attached). I found Vincent on Instagram, showed him a reference photo of light ginger, and explicitly said I wanted LIGHT, not dark. I even mentioned a previous bad experience where a stylist went too dark, and he reassured me that wouldn’t happen. He said the color was doable.
During the appointment, Vincent and his assistant started whispering to each other in Vietnamese about my hair. They KNEW I spoke Vietnamese because I’d been speaking it with them. I had to ask what was wrong. Vincent downplayed it, saying the toner wasn’t absorbing well. This should have been communicated immediately, not hidden in whispered conversations.
After the second attempt resulted in hair that was way too dark, Vincent applied a THIRD toner that was so harsh my scalp was burning and they had to put a towel over my nose because of the fumes. They continued whispering in Vietnamese while I sat there in pain, terrified and disrespected.
After 6 hours (12:30-6:30 PM), my hair was much darker than requested, had banding, lighter roots, and visible breakage on top (see photo). When I pointed out the breakage, Vincent dismissed it: “Oh it’s just a little bit.” YOU damaged my hair and won’t take accountability? When I said it was too dark, he claimed it would “look brighter in the sun” and “fade with washes.” I’m not paying $350 to wait weeks for my hair to fade into what I asked for.
He wanted me to come back to “fix the banding” - essentially pay full price for botched work and trust him again. I paid half and left. If you couldn’t get it right after 6 hours, clear communication, and reference photos, why would I trust a second attempt? The breakage looks like sprouts growing from my head. I’m embarrassed to leave my house.
This isn’t just about wrong color. It’s about lack of transparency, blatant disrespect (whispering about me in a language you KNOW I understand), refusing accountability, and dismissing legitimate concerns. Three rounds of toner, chemical burns, and still the wrong result.
Vincent destroyed my hair, trust, and self-confidence. Save yourself the money, time, and heartbreak. Go literally anywhere else.

Super happy I found Tuong to do my hair! I can’t thank him enough for the incredible service he provided. I came in with crazy roots and he bleached my hair to a stunning white without any damage to my hair or scalp. He was thoughtful, careful, and paid super close attention to every detail. The salon was super clean and Tuong was very attentive. This is the best my hair has looked and I have never had such a flawless bleach and color experience. Tuong has gained a lifetime customer out of me.

DO NOT GET YOUR HAIR DONE HERE! I had specifically told my hair colorist when I sat in his chair I did NOT want blonde hair, but he insisted he NEEDED to bleach my entire head to “ achieve “ the color I wanted. I had YELLOW hair 24 hours after leaving the salon! I paid $410 for a color I didn’t even ask for nor would anyone want! It was way too light, not like the photo I showed. And then he REFUSED to refund me! Now I have to get an attorney, a plus I paid another $400 to have my hair color corrected!! I wish I NEVER walked into this salon! I had texted him a photo of my hair 24 hours after asking him to correct it when I got back from vacation, and then he had the audacity to say he would charge me! INSANITY.
