Wow—what an amazing experience. After today’s visit, I won’t take my son anywhere else.
We previously had a terrible experience with another dentist, and Dr. Dan Truong completely turned that around. When he pulled my son’s tooth today, there was zero pain. In fact, Dr. Dan was finished before my son even realized he had started.
For context, my 8-year-old has ADHD and is very sensitive to sound and touch. Dr. Dan was able to get him numb and remove the tooth without my son shedding a single tear—something I honestly didn’t think was possible.
The entire team was incredible. Breanna, our treatment coordinator, provided a pre-treatment estimate, and it ended up costing us less than expected (a rare and welcome surprise!). The office was running a little behind and short-staffed, but their communication was excellent, and they still kept everything moving smoothly.
When Zahara, our dental assistant, took us back, I mentioned my son’s sound sensitivity. She immediately went into action—taking the time to let him hear all the sounds and touch the suction tools before anything started. She was considerate, kind, patient, gentle, and thoughtful—everything a child could want in a dental assistant.
I’ve been in the dental field a long time, and you can truly tell when an office genuinely cares about their patients. My little guy is a tough one, and this team showed us exactly what true professionalism and compassion look like.

Clarissa was fantastic! She was super patient and kind with my kiddo. Dr. Arora was equally amazing, explaining everything clearly and making the experience stress-free. Such a positive experience for my child and me. We were very anxious-- even though I work in the dental field, it’s always more nerve-racking when it’s your own child. Dr. Aurora and her assistants were incredibly patient and worked so well with us to get the necessary X-rays and adjust the treatment to what my child could comfortably handle. I never felt rushed, everything was clearly explained, and the care and professionalism from the entire staff were outstanding. We’re so grateful—an amazing team!

So I brought my son into this place for braces. He’s 12 years old at first I was quoted verbally $5000 and I’m thinking that’s a little high but OK now this was verbally but when I finally got my estimated Total and what I’ve paid so far I’ve noticed that the estimated total was $11,000 so I’ve been reaching out to this place for the last year or so trying to get and understand why is it $11,000 he doesn’t need any teeth extractions. It’s just braces. He’s 12 years old. I even told her in person I said that’s a small vehicle like 11,000 is a lot and she said oh that’s the estimate total so then this whole time my son‘s been going there to get work done to get his teeth done and things like that I was asking for all my breakdowns of how much I paid because I’ve been paying for two years and it seemed like you know it’s never going down. They told me that my insurance company hasn’t made any payments. My insurance company says they haven’t submitted anything to them so now I’m getting ping-pong back-and-forth. I finally go up there and actually snap on the lady Chanel, which is I guess the finance manager of that place she finally sends me a breakdown of what I’ve paid so far. I asked her about the $11,000 estimate for braces and I said that’s very very high for a 12-year-old to get braces after me being very mad and angry every time we go up there for appointment she finally calls me back after a year and was like oh so I was able to get it down to 5000. I said cool so my insurance paid about $3000. I paid about $3000 and then once I go in there when my son is ready for his retainers, then she tells me oh I got it down to 55 and I said wait over the phone you told me it was 5000 now in the office you telling me is 5500 at this point I just wanna get it over it. I’m like all right cool when can I get the rest of my money I was supposed to receive $472 back that She said would take 4 to 6 weeks for a refund which is very unacceptable. This place is horrible and somebody needs to do something about that because I was overly charge $11,000 and had I had not said nothing they would’ve keep or let me pay and pay and pay and pay this place is not cool. I almost wanna say something else if you know you know that’s why I was charged that much.
By the way, The people that worked on my son teeth was excellent. I would say that, but it was just a finance department that charged me well they try to charge me 11,000 then when I complained about that it was 8000 and then when I complained about that it was 5000 but then told 5500 and I’m still waiting on my refund and I will be making it a review and hopefully this helps out someone that is going through this at any dental office that will overcharge their clients for a simple braces and cleaning when you have good insurance they’ll still overcharge you or at least try to which is in my opinion, bad business practice, and a whole bunch of other things

I’ve been taking my kids to Dr. Arora for years and we have always had a great experience. She has always been patient and kind with them and tries to find ways to connect. I’m so glad we chose this office. My kids have no fear of the dentist, which I hope will continue when they age out of pediatric dentistry.

We are beyond grateful to Dr. Li and his amazing team. When my son first started his orthodontic journey, he was shy about his smile and rarely showed his teeth in photos. From the very first visit, the team made him feel comfortable and cared for. they always took the time to explain what was happening and encouraged my son every step of the way.
Now that his braces are off, the transformation is incredible — not just in his smile, but in his confidence. He smiles all the time now, and you can tell he feels so proud of how far he’s come. We can’t thank Dr. Li and his team enough for their skill, kindness, and dedication. They truly gave our boy more than just straight teeth — they gave him a reason to smile with confidence.
