MAPLE MAN - Japanese Maple Pruning

We bought an old (50+) "rescued" Japanese Laceleaf Maple from a local tree farm last fall. I went out to prune and really inspect it for the first time since it was planted and quickly got lost on where to start. I found Shyam online and he was able to come out just a couple days later. It was magical! He is so kind and so knowledgeable. He allowed me to prune alongside him and talked to me about what he was doing and why. I called Shyam out of the blue (on a Friday) on a dying Japanese Maple tree of ours and he was more than helpful in processing all my input on this particular tree's environment, hillside topography, exposure to sun. wind and soil conditions. I sent a couple of photos to get a visual too. He responded quickly that what I described was "verticillium wilt" to a 'T' and with documentation for me read up on the condition and what typically leads to this infection. I now have some direction going forward into the Spring on getting soil evaluation (before introducing a replacement) for this soilborne fungus and possibly prevent this – or at least treat – our remaining Japanese...read full review

I am very pleased with how Shaym reshaped my two Japanese Maples as well as a "curley/distorted" Maple. It's almost like he can commune with the trees to find their true nature.Service: Tree trimming & pruning
