I love my doctor here, Dr. Vu, but there is a PA here named Melissa Blake who is absolutely unprofessional. I have been sitting here for 24hrs in pain because she decided that I wasn’t trustworthy enough to know my own body. DO NOT GO TO MELISSA BLAKE. she is a horrible, horrible PA and invalidated my pain. she didnt listen to my doctor who is more qualified than she is, and she didnt even apologize after being proved wrong, as my tests came up positively for infection. claimed she spent “45 minutes” counseling me when all she did was say “you dont have a true infection so i cant help you”. absolutely disgusted with her behavior.
I went to the Scripps Lab for a blood draw at this location on North El Camino Real. Alvin performed the blood draw for me. He did such a fine job. No pain at all. He was very engaging and we had a great conversation. It is so wonderful to work with individuals such as Alvin that are great at their work and are so pleasant to interact with.
Highly recommend this practice and feel fortunate to have access to this practice this past year and a half. Dr. Lumkong is stellar and everyone in the practice is capable, efficient and professional. I prefer to use their easy-to-navigate portal to book appointments and always receive email offers for earlier appointments, even if with another provider other than my primary. Same for prescription requests and orders for tests. Test results are often posted in my portal the same day, very impressive! Because of the seamlessness between the professional staff and their online system I never procrastinate about contacting to leave an inquiry or booking an appointment.... read full review
