While I was back in northern california from collage during the winter break, I needed to find somewhere to get new glasses and quick before school started again. I worried that with all the festivities of the winter season, I would struggle to find somewhere in the midst of it all. I eventually came across IMAGINE Optometry from a mutual recommendation. Going in, I was in a bit of a rush and had another appointment that I needed to get to afterwards. Perfect for me, the service was both thorough and fast. I had a great experience at Imagine Optometry. Dr Tran started right on time and conducted the eye exam without delay. Everything went smoothly and I was able to order a new supply of contact lenses. After I went home, I received a call from Dr Tran telling me that I was eligible for insurance to cover the entire cost of my lenses instead of only part. This was the first time an optometrist has noticed that. I will definitely be returning.

I’m so happy to find this office! All of staffs are so kind and friendly, ready to help. Doctor explained every detail and I’m so impressed for their welcoming environment!! My family and I will definitely go there for the eye exams.

Dr. Tan Truong has more than 10 years of experience covering a diverse scope of practice in clinical optometry. He is a two-time recipient of the Ezell Fellowship given by the American Optometric Foundation. This award a result of his commitment to advancing the field of Optometry and Vision Science through rigorous research and dedication to education. He is currently an Assistant Clinical Professor at UC Berkeley’s School of Optometry teaching in an academic environment with access to the most current thoughts in patient care. Imagine Optometry is a manifestation of his passion to advance our knowledge and improve the delivery of care to patients both directly and indirectly through clinical practice and translational research.
