While the staff and ambiance is generally very nice and welcoming, I felt ignored by the receptionist on the second floor. They will help you find surgeons, they will help you with insurance, they will help you connect to therapy (though everything is informed consent based anyways so no diagnoses are required by them). Every staff member will use your preferred name and pronouns even if they aren't an LGBTQ+ healthcare expert. If cost is an issue they can reduce your cost to zero so that your transition can be done for free.
As a transgender individual I believe this is one of the best places in the country to get gender care, assuming you have UC SHIP.
