I had my hair cut and colored by Alicia Marie and she was AWESOME! She really took the time to hear what I wanted, showed me pictures of her ideas, and went to work! I love the results. Best hair color and cut ever! Alicia is passionate about what she does and it shows. She is both delightful and talented. I will definitely go back to her. Me & my friend had back to back appointments with Valkyre at the capitola store to get our hair colored. Both of us were WAY overdue, but she went above and beyond to make sure our hair came our great! The poor thing was running around like a madwoman but we both left there with huge smiles & our hair both looked great. She really knows her stuff. I would highly recommend her services. And will be returning to ulta to have her do my hair again.?

Getting help from the staff inside the store is hit and miss. There is no sense of urgency to support the customers. Almost always have to seek out a staff member to get help or questions answered. Often staff are chatting among themselves. Check out can be slow and frustrating too. Staff will make you stand and wait to check out and pay because they are taking care of a task that could have waited until the customer has been helped. General experience is that is no sense of urgency to help the customers. They will get to you when they can.
