TL;DR: Dr Victor Wang is the best migraine doctor you could ask for

I have an extremely severe chronic migraine disorder and spent years trying to find good quality of care -- until I started seeing Dr Wang. Before that I had gone through two and a half years of one treatment after another failing to relieve my constant excruciating pain in the slightest, but with Dr Wang's help my pain levels have dropped considerably. He is extremely knowledgeable, kind, compassionate, and helpful. There is a social worker with his group that has helped me navigate SDI and UI processes as I had to take time away from working to manage my pain.

I've been seeing Aryn Earnhardt, neuro NP, for over a year now & she's been fantastic. Good listener, creative problem solver for my particularly difficult migraines, & her team has been responsive when I have questions between visits.

My doctor was fine. Referrals were a nightmare and that's why I left. You can only see a specialist who is affiliated with Sutter and no one else even if your insurance plan will cover those other people. There are very few choices within Sutter. I had one physical therapy place and one urologist to choose from, and if I didn't like them it was tough luck.
