After my surgery I initially worked with a UCSF pelvic floor therapist that my surgeon referred me to, and I was very unhappy with them. When I switched to working with Victoria at PFTB my care greatly improved and my healing progressed faster.

I highly recommend Victoria! I have never felt as safe and at ease with someone supporting me in this area of my body, and I feel extremely lucky to have found her as a physical therapist! She's amazing <3

I have had great results for my pelvic issues with PHRC, with Tiffany Ai Lan Vo and other PT’s there. The support staff is also very supportive, welcoming and competent in dealing with the insurance maze. Thank you Lisa Topete. I got excellent PT care, support and guidance there and highly recommend PHRC.

I went to PHRC after a mountain biking accident and healing of my fractured pelvic bone. The scar tissue buildup was restricting my range of motion and made bike riding painful. After much research, I found PHRC as the only PT clinics in the North Bay providing both strengthening training and manual therapy. I’m completely past my injuries and in a better physical condition than before my fall accident.

TL;DR: Tiffany Ai Lan Vo is smart, caring, and knowledgeable and her expertise essentially saved me. Lisa at reception is wonderful, helpful and reassuring and I look forward to seeing both these women every time I go in. More info in case this helps another woman: I was in a debilitating painful, dark, scary place for two months before I found PHRC and pelvic floor therapist, Tiffany. I cannot recommend her and PHRC enough. Not only did Tiffany listen to everything I had to say with compassion, respect and patience, she was able to diagnose my problem within minutes. Something my ob/gyn wasn't able to do for months and something supposed "specialist" Dr. Alexandra Haessler at Sutter Health (very dismissive doctor) wasn't able to do even though she somehow bears the qualifications of "urogynecologist". It wasn't just that I needed physical therapy, Tiffany was able to correctly diagnose something very medical that both these doctors missed! I'm putting this in the review in case some other woman out there is being told that it's neuropathic and/or that nothing is wrong by Dr. H or anyone else in spite of her symptoms and feels hopeless. It's not you! It's real. I wouldn't trust that diagnosis until you see a pelvic pain specialist like Tiffany. Unfortunately MDs in the Bay Area seem very in the dark about pelvic pain. Even after knowing what my medical diagnosis was and getting proper treatment for it (thanks to Tiffany) I'm still struggling to find a provider who is knowledgeable in it and its not for lack of trying. PHRC's entire mission and specialty is to help men and women with this type of thing and it shows and it is life changing.

I highly recommend PHRC at Berkeley! When I first began working with Jillian, I was struggling with pain and mobility issues as a distance runner. She was able to empathize with me as a runner and helped build up my strength and flexibility. I'm currently running 30-50 miles a week and am preparing to run my first marathon -- and I could not have done it without her! Thanks Jillian!

Jillian did a wonderful job helping me recover lost core strength from childbirth and old injuries! I am grateful.

Dr. Summer Moss and the staff at PHRC are the best people. The check in staff is friendly, warm and easy to talk to, which sets you up with how easy it is to be treated by Dr. Moss. Dr. Moss explains everything very clearly, asks intelligent questions that never assume she knows the whole story before you answer. She is inventive in her solutions and always believes whole-heartedly that healing is possible. By doing the exercises she showed my in the office, along with her follow up emails detailing what we covered, I have been able to run without leaking for the first time in years. She also gave me the spark to actually run again, and it feels GREAT! Thanks Summer!!!
