Grandson has learned so much!. Andrew just completed his testing and is now a blue belt! Amazing . Any parent even thinking about putting their child in a Karate class look no further. This is the place!

I love this place so much. I had been trying to find a karate class for my son for a few years. The other places in the area are super expensive or they expect the kids to get it right on the first try and if they don't, they won't let them stay in the class. My son has been in the class since November of 2021. We've missed several classes due to illness, COVID, personal issues, etc and they have always been super understanding and patient. Other classes will kick you out if you miss any days or miss too many days. Shotokan does not do that. They are super family friendly and my son absolutely loves the class, the teachers, and the other kids.

I have been attending this dojo for over 3 years now after attending another dojo most of my life. I have never had the detailed instruction i have had until i started training at Shotokan Karate Academy. Hanshi Rick Llewellyn is an amazing instructor with great knowledge, he even trains with us in class! After looking around in my area for a closer dojo to attend, i cant imagine training anywhere else. I drive almost an hour and a half twice a week to attend! Everyone is friendly and welcoming right away, i felt i have been training with them forever. I love this dojo!
