I think overall the physical space it's self is a 4.5. Some instructors really don't que students enough so I wouldn't recommend this place to someone who hasn't done yoga before. During the end of the extreme precautions with covid this studio opened a second space attached to their main lobby area and it was THE BEST area to do yoga. It was hot enough, tall ceilings, bright natural lighting. They had the pads for your yoga towels so you aren't on the hard ground-- today I walked in and the door was filled with a wall :( Back in the smaller room, just wasn't the same for me... A touch I really love is they always give you chilled towels before your savasana at the end of class.
The facilities are super clean and unkept really well. I've been to several hot yoga spots and each one always smells like sweaty gym socks to me. But this place doesn't smell bad at all! In fact most of the time it smells like eucalyptus probably from the steam room. But I love how the main yoga room is really well spaced out and they have candles to mark where the yoga mats are supposed to be placed and they don't try to cram as many people as they can into a room, so I'm not climbing over peoples puddles of sweat. All the instructors are reallly nice and warm and actually do the poses with you so I felt well instructed. There's a instructor with a Australian accent and I love her flows and listening to her talk it's the most calming accent! The room is well heated throughout the session and I always get a good sweat in and feel amazing after. I have recommended two of my other friends to this place already and have been trying to get more of my friends to come with me.
The instructor is super friendly. I took Aly and I like that she explain and show the movements throughout the class. She also move to different areas in the room to show the movement which help a lot. Since I was in the back, and sometimes it hard to see. It gets pretty hot in the yoga room. Make sure you bring plenty of water, towel, and yoga mat. Some people like to bring an extra towel for their mat. The slow flow class is pretty relaxing. The room gets pretty hot. Pros: - there is a steam room you could use before class - parking on site and street parking - water fountain to refill your bottle I recommend to try a class through Classpass! I can't wait to go back :)
