I have been taking my clothes to Ko Ko cleaners for over five years. Everything from basic dry cleaning, pant hems, to clothes alterations, to entire dress reconstructions. The staff does not rush and tailors clothes exactly as you ask.
I started coming here at first to get my clothes dry cleaned. It is $8 per piece and it comes out in perfect condition ready to be worn. I started to get some pants hemmed here and at the time of writing this it was $6 a piece. Very quick process. Just come in and wear the pants. The shop owner will adjust and pin it and it usually takes a few days depending on how busy they are. They take credit card but there might be a fee for that, so I usually just opt for cash. Very good quality work, cheap, and quick!
