I’m not even a morning person but I’m so happy I wasn’t lazy and woke up and attended this Iyengar yoga class at 9 am on a Saturday. Hands down the best yoga class I have been to, the class was relaxing and went at a nice pace and not rushed, the instructor (Cara) was lovely and very patient and would help each person individually to get the poses done the correct way and modified movements based on their needs. I am a long time devotee of Sound Baths. find them to be deeply relaxing to my body and mind. Saturday I attended Ali’s Sound Bath before heading off to do holiday errands. After class I was astounded at how I was able to effortlessly and calmly make my way through busy parking lots and checkout lines without feeling agitated or impatient. Ali took me that deep into relaxation. I was not asleep but deeply relaxed and it was deeper than ever before. She used her singing crystal bowls, tuning forks and bells. I recommend it to anyone seeking a calm relaxed body and mind. This will be a “must add” to my calendar.

I've had an excellent experience for almost 20 years at Yoga Upstairs. The teacher is incredibly knowledgeable, with a deep understanding of the body and how each movement contributes to better alignment and overall wellbeing. What stands out most is their ability to recognize individual issues, offer precise corrections and clearly explain the reason behind each adjustment. It makes every class both educational and effective. The studio itself has a warm ambience where everyone is cordial, supportive and genuinely caring It is a wonderful environment to practice in, whether you are a beginner or have been doing yoga for years. I highly recommend it!
