Great vet office if you live in the Old Agoura and Agoura Hills community. The staff is friendly and attentive.

We've been taking our dogs to Agoura Animal Clinic for 20+ years. All of the vets have taking great care of multiple dogs over the years, including some through illnesses and cancer. We had a recent experience that was above and beyond the already great experience we've had over the years. One of my very active and large dogs had a small lump that we had removed (small mass cell tumor). It was in a place that required him to have no activities while he healed. One week into his two week recovery, he popped all of the stitches out. Despite this being late in the day, Dr. Zeilinger stitched him back up that night. Dr. Zeilinger, the vet techs and staff were so kind and considerate and helped a worried dog mom tremendously. My boy is on his way to recovery (again) but I wanted to recognize everyone at Agoura Animal Clinic!

Young Dr. S is very friendly and great with guinea pigs. He is very knowledgeable, caring, and empathetic to your concerns. Highly recommended.

Had a great first experience at Agoura Animal Clinic. I called in about my guinea pig and spoke with Kai, who was incredibly kind and compassionate. By my good luck and blessings, she helped me find a same-day Saturday appointment when most other clinics were booked!

Dr. Zeilinger was fantastic—very knowledgeable and experienced with guinea pigs. She explained everything clearly and made sure my pet was well cared for, providing options to run a full diagnostic.

Even though the clinic was a bit of a drive for me, it was absolutely worth it. My guinea pig is doing much better thanks to their care and her taking the prescribed medications. Highly recommend, especially if you have small pets.

I so very much appreciate that every time I have walked through the doors of Agoura Animal Clinic over the past 25 years (with multiple pets), we have always been treated with a welcoming smile and the utmost care for our dogs/guinea pigs from the entire staff.
Most recently we have come to know
Dr. Aulestia and cannot extend enough thanks or speak highly enough about her!
She is so very methodical in her approach to the problems we have brought Jet in for and her care has been nothing short of expert!
So appreciate her always bringing her calming manner to what can be a very emotional and anxiety-producing experience.

We’ve been going to Agoura Animal Clinic for many years, back when Dr. Capper and Dr. Silverman were still practicing. They were knowledgeable, compassionate, and truly cared for their patients.

Sadly, this clinic is no longer the same.

Our senior dog, who has a long history of heart issues and panic attacks in the car, recently showed some changes in behavior. It wasn’t an emergency, but serious enough that we wanted her seen as soon as possible. The clinic gave us an appointment two days later.

On the day of the appointment, despite leaving early, LA traffic and her panic attacks forced us to stop a few times. We ended up arriving only 10 minutes late. To our shock, the doctor refused to see her—even though the office was empty, no emergencies were waiting, and our dog was panting heavily from stress.

In the past, we often sat in that same waiting room for 20–30 minutes before being seen, which was never an issue. This time, however, they turned us away. We had to rush her to another clinic, and even though their doctor had already left, they cared enough to call around and find us another vet who would see her right away. Because of the stress and trauma, she had to be put on oxygen.

This was the last time we will ever bring our dogs here. This clinic is no longer the caring neighborhood practice it once was. It now feels like just another business run by doctors who lack compassion and heart for their patients. Refusing to see an elderly dog with heart problems over being 10 minutes late, when the office is empty is beyond disappointing. It’s shameful.

The doctors and staff at Agoura Animal Clinic are top notch. They truly care about my dogs and cat and they get the best care when they are there. Everyone is so kind and loving and you can tell they all love animals. They know me and my pets names when we walking the door. It’s a wonderful feeling to be able to get such great care for my furry babies.
