Our central vacuum system, which had been running great, was having very low suction and I suspected a clog. In the past I was successful at clearing clogs by using a shop vac to vacuum from the different wall ports, but this time I could not get the clog to clear. I contacted Advanced Homes and scheduled an appt. with Tom. Service Tech Marc (friendly, wore a mask) showed up on time and successfully cleared the clog within the 1-hour time frame covered by the original estimate, made sure our hoses were clog-free, and tightened some fittings on the canister. When my mom's house needed repairs to the central vacuum system, I called this company. Her old central vacuum system repair company had changed hands, she enlisted my help in finding a new company. I reached out to a few, and this company seemed most capable. They really know central vacuum systems. They were ultimately able to replace the parts that needed replacing, removed a clog, and repaired the motor. Everything is now back in good, working order. We contracted Advanced Homes to do the yearly routine maintenance on our central vacuum cleaning system, so we had the date set for about a week in advance, nothing urgent. Then suddenly, the whole vacuum system shut down and it became a real priority to get them into take a look. We called them up and they immediately scheduled us for a next day repair visit. Their technician Mark came over the next morning and discovered that it was time for an internal motor replacement.
