Securing a mortgage was a major undertaking for me and I quickly realized, in dealing the banks, that I was at a disadvantage. I found that the bank staff that I encountered, ‘mortgage specialist,’ shockingly did not fully understand the products they were selling and didn’t seem to have an interest in the details.
