Dr Tom is beyond amazing at getting a sedentary stiff body moving healthy again… Do I dare say best in Arizona or anywhere? That would be hard to test unless I met every PT in the state and worldwide but from the ones I had seem before he definitely strives to listen to your story and goals and problem solve in the most direct way rather than giving you a bunch of exercises that don’t result in moving you towards where you want to be again. I don’t regret the decision to trust Dr Tom and his team one bit in my physical therapy journey. I can’t say enough incredible things about my experience of physical therapy at the doctors of Scottsdale. I had a lot of mid back pain for years stopped me from enjoying golf, (been to doctors, physical therapists). Nothing helped Then I met Dr. Tom and his staff , WOW they really care, explained to me what the muscle groups in the body we’re doing , what needed to be addressed , and how to get back on track with certain exercises that needed to be done , They are just the best and brilliant with their knowledge of the human body and movement patterns . most physical therapy places you’re a number, not here they really care about you the person and... read full review
This is a truly different physical therapy practice. I won’t repeat what you can read on their website but will say that they are committed to making you feel better and regain whatever function you’ve lost. They have seemingly endless variations to the exercises they want you to do, to tailor them to where you are in recovery while still having you do the movements that will make you stronger. The staff is unfailingly friendly and welcoming. I have been discouraged with PT a number of times before but I’m feeling encouraged and hopeful with DPT.
