AzOPT - Arizona Orthopedic Physical Therapy Goodyear

I have had the best experience so far at AzOPT! When I first came in for my neck after migraines from my brain surgery, I was greeted with a warm smile from Melina. Jasmine is my therapist and has helped so much with the pain and discomfort I feel daily. She really listens to what I experience and comes up with different types of modalities that help such as hands on therapeutic massage, dry needling and exercises that I can also do at home in between visits! The combination has expedited my healing and my physicians are so pleased with my progress. I’m so blessed for the team at AzOPT and would highly recommend them to anyone! 😊

I am not even sure where to start. I guess a good place is the front office staff. I am medically complex as are some of my children. We see a truly wild amount of specialists and doctors. I have never experienced the kind of care and attention from front office staff that Melina and Ivette deliver. I have never seen them provide anything other than highly empathetic, professional care to every patient. They are quick to respond, resourceful, warm, and efficient. I had another PT office I had to see for something AZOPT doesn’t specialize in, and I truly missed the experience I get in the front office at AZOPT when I was there.

I began PT with AZOPT in the spring of 2024 for my back. My therapist and I had to work together to figure out how to improve my back because normal approaches weren’t as effective as one would expect. The therapist I had at the time (Logan) figured out a combination and order of operations that had my back improving for the first time. I then needed additional PT for my foot.

Shortly after Logan moved to another location, I was diagnosed with a rare genetic connective tissue disorder that explained why he needed to change his approach. The new therapist I was with (Karim) spent time researching best practices for my condition, and shared vitally important information with me about how to approach my body and its quirks. He found a way to work around my foot without losing too much ground on my back and then folded in care of my foot when it was time.

I am now working with Brooke, who continues to balance support during pain/inflammatory flares and pushing me for progress within my limits. Due to my condition, I am likely to need lifelong support from physical therapists. I cannot tell you how relieved I am to have found AZOPT. Others with my condition are not as blessed as I am with their PT providers.

The condition I have is autosomal dominant, meaning my biological children have a 50/50 chance of having it. All three of them have been seen by therapists at AZOPT and have learned how to protect their joints from issues related to the condition. The therapists and staff were kind and very tolerant of my chatty, neurodivergent kids. I am currently listening to Brooke talk through my 10 year olds concerns with her. My daughter is learning how to communicate with medical professionals and also learning what will help her body.

I have recommended this office to everyone I know. I’ve had three other family members see therapists here (Jasmine included), and all of them have been absolutely thrilled with their care.

AZOPT is a teaching office, so at certain times of the year students are present in the office. It is really informative to hear the therapists coach their students. The only time I ever had a concern it was addressed promptly and professionally.

At one point my insurance company was being a nightmare. AZOPT billing was patient and helpful while I figured out what was going on with them. Truly, they have it together here and you should give them a try.

I have been going to AZ opts Goodyear for a while now and everyone is very nice and it's so great how all the physical therapists encourage you I am very happy with Karim and Tyler who both challenged me and never made me feel bad about myself when I couldn't do one of the challenging exercises and it is always great to meet Melina with her great smile and how she goes above and beyond to get us scheduled thanks AZ opts Goodyear

Gillian is the best! I can walk up the stairs and even jog now without pain. She is always so cheerful and positive and gave me excises to do on my own between our sessions. I hope I don’t need to go back, but know I will be in good hands if I do!

I had an injury from my bootcamp class and was referred to Genevieve for a consultation. I loved her from the minute I met her and was so glad to continue therapy with her. She listened to my concerns and gave me exercises that helped me focus on getting back to bootcamp in a way that I felt safe and confident! I highly recommend her!

Can't say enough good things about AZOpt in Goodyear. Have been a patient here on and off for 18 years. Recently, I had PT over 5 months for back to back total knee replacements-8 weeks apart. My primary therapist was Jasmine. I could not have done this without her. But, all of the therapists are terrific. In addition to Jasmine, Jillian worked with me fairly often and is wonderful. Over the 5 months, I think all of the therapists worked with me at least once. I would not hesitate to use any therapist there.

I had double total knee replacements last year (May and December). Both times, I was assigned to Karim. His due diligence with with me helped me go from being dependent on a walker to walking without any aids. Thank you, Karim! My role as a family caregiver is easier to do with knees that don't hurt every day. I love AzOPT!
