We were visiting from out-of-state when one of our car's key fobs stopped working. We thought the battery needed replaced again. We stopped in this locksmith shop as we were leaving town, heading back towards home. The person helping us was very nice and obviously knowledgeable about car fobs. She tested the battery, and it was still good. She explained that the battery may not be making good contact, so she adjusted the prongs in the fob, put the battery back in and it worked like a charm! She wouldn't take any payment since she didn't have to replace the battery!! If we lived here, we would certainly use this company for all our locksmith needs!... read full review
Allen was upfront with the challenges I might experience in programming my cheap Chinese Amazon fobs for 17’ Honda Pilot and the disclaimer that you will get charged $60 even if the programming fails. He suggested that clients buy one key from him and cheap spares elsewhere if needed (with a good return policy), and that would avoid paying for his time and leaving empty handed.
Not only do I appreciate the disclaimer and willingness to put some effort into a product not purchased in store, but I also learned about the complications of programming keys for Nissan Rogues and newer Subarus. Service and info I would have not gotten at a dealer.
We lost our key fob and he was kind enough to order one for us and have it come in the next day had to be FedEx in but we finally found it not in my purse but in my doggy bag anyway instead of us paying him a lot of money we only were charged a minimal amount $75 to have it FedEx back and forth and restocked. Allen the owner is a great guy to work with I'll just tell you.
