I had a very disappointing experience at this dentist office. The front desk clerk was unprofessional, and I felt that she’s very rude to a certain demographic of people. During my visit. She lacked consideration for my personal circumstances and job setbacks, which made the whole experience even more stressful. I lost my job, and had to cancel my previously scheduled annual appointment for my kids and I. When I finally got another job and called to schedule new appointments, I was told that my family and I were removed from their office because of missed appointments. She was very condescending when letting me know that we couldn’t return to the office. She even canceled my husband, and he hadn’t canceled any prior appointments. She said since we’re married, he couldn’t come back either. I was very disappointed because I actually liked the hygienist and Dr. Skinner. If you’re going through job loss, you may want to reconsider them. I would not recommend this office to anyone looking for compassionate dental care.

Dr. Skinner treated three of my teeth, and I am not satisfied with any of them. The first tooth was extracted, and an implant crown needed to be installed. Two weeks later, the crown cracked, and I had to wait another two weeks for a replacement. However, even after the new crown was fitted, there was a large gap where food kept getting stuck. I eventually had this fixed at a different dental clinic. But here is the most frustrating part: the doctor treated another tooth and also suggested a crown for it. For two weeks following the treatment, I waited for the crown while suffering from extreme tooth sensitivity. The doctor assured me the pain would subside once the crown was installed. It didn't. I ended up having to get a root canal because the pain was so severe I couldn't even eat. When I returned to the doctor and asked to replace the crown—since a hole had to be drilled through it for the root canal—he told me that the new crown would be at my own expense. I've been going to Dr Skinner for at least 15 years and actually look forward to every visit! I always say it's the most relaxing part of my year because it's one of the only times I can legitimately say I cannot answer my phone! I've had every kind of dental procedure you can imagine at that office and have never ever felt an ounce of pain. Honestly the worst thing I dread is getting my teeth flossed! Other than the no pain and the great service I have never waited more than 5 minutes for my appointment. And that is absolutely no stretch of the truth! If you are looking for a great dentist and friendly staff definitely check out his office!

I have been a patient here over the last several months. My oral care has been great, Dr. Skinner has been phenomenal, my hygienist is personable and warm. The receptionist at the front, not so much. She seems friendly on approach, but her customer service skills are subpar. She can be condescending, rude, and easily frustrated. These qualities affect the patient experience and I do not look forward to having to interact with her when coming in. Besides this, I recommend Dr. Skinner and his other delightful staff!

Deceptive practices. They ran my insurance, told me what was out of pocket which paid. Now billing me for money because my Insurance was on hold for restorative practices. Spoke to Blue cross blue shield who said when they first ran my insurance it would have stated it was on temporary hold and they should have informed me of that rather than doing the work knowing my insurance would not pay at that time.
