Charles came out and went to work! He was fast, efficient and informative! He approached the issue in an old school way which I greatly appreciated. The man knows what he’s doing and has a lot of wisdom about water and engineering. He also does foundation & drainage work. 10/10 recommend! Thank You. I had bad experience also-they said my mold was too bad for the machines to get it out and i had paid them 1000.00 up front. Then they tore out ceiling in my bathroom and floor in my bedroom and said they couldnt fix it back tho and then threw debris out door didnt haul off and charged me 1000.00 more and if didnt pay would take me to court. Found out they have person in house down town with living room as their office in nlr and a rodney parham address and phone number for voicemail and the girl who is supervisor and inspects does work is who you talk to on her phone. Its a mess to say the least and probably could have sued them as it ended up seeming like they are really scammers or not really legit on fixing things and just in it to make money off people what it seemed in my experience.

I have made two phone calls so far to get paperwork on repairs that were completed and paid for out of my personal funds on 12/29/22 that I should have had two weeks ago. I know plumbing people are busy but I am getting skeptical about them. I'm trying to give them the benefit of the doubt but business is business and if you are legitimate what's the hold up?1/24/23 update: Please ya'll get everything in writing before this company does any work. Please don't just go off verbal conversation. They did acceptable work for me, but their paperwork trail needs to be inline with what is verbally given to the customer.

Charles initially appeared to be professional. He came in my home with equipment checking behind toilets. Stated my cold water line was bad throughout the house! Then proceeding to recommend mitigation for $2800 that was supposed to include a report of his findings of water damage. Then he recommended a repair in the cold water line which he previously stated was bad! The repair would be started and finished by his other company (drains and things) he wanted an additional $2900 for that service, he had retired plumber come out actually make the repair and had to pay him separately $450 he had unqualified men working on my property and one of them dug up my gas line! Charles never called before he ordered the man to start digging! The gas company came out an had to fix the repair for 24 hours had to dig up my yard and my neighbor yard! Charles just apologized for the inconvenience. Charles told me what I should tell my insurance company! He stated that I was talking too much to the insurance and had already messed up! He never gave any receipts, reports, copies of anything! He never pinpointed a leak which I paid $330 for but got a receipt from a 3rd company he affiliates with Fountains of Y Farms! Not A1 Emergency leak detection l! He started work in a generalized area not specific area! When asked about the mitigation reports, he stated it would take a long time! Which he failed to mention. He wanted me to sign a contract that would allow him to charge me for services and he could make the same claims to the insurance company and get double the pay! This contracts stated that all payments from the insurance company should be forfeited to him; after already being paid! RUN WOULD NOT RECOMMEND! He is a good and smooth talker but preys on people in need of water repairs! He has a history of doing business this way! I'm seeking an attorney and civil suit, this guy isn't as he appears to be! Added photos for reference! He asked for my policy number too to bill my insurance! He quotes "law and legal" terms to try to sound more professional. When asked about the clause in his contract he stated "you will get your money back, once the insurance company pay me the check I will give it back to you!" He insisted I send emails to my agent immediately! He didn't do any work the barked orders to unqualified men! His machines were filters were filthy and he brings them all in and they do absolutely NOTHING! Except run up a huge electric bill! The gas company stated he would be getting a hefty bill for his negligence! Charles stated he would let his company insurance deal with and say that the guy he had digging was only using a shovel! Charles told the man where and how deep to dig! He wanted to know how did I know his name because he never told me his name! He didn't want me to take pictures or record anything in my own home and property! Stated by recording I could be getting myself in trouble! Now, he is threatening me with litigation via text messages! He insists on getting paid via checks or credit card! He wants full payment for partial/incomplete work! He price gouges people!

After calling A1 and hearing their diagnosis of our water leak which turned out to actually be a sewer clog Made us get a second opinion. A1 was going to charge us in the neighborhood of 30,000.00 and have us move out of our home to repair. $150.00 later with a roto-rooter company we were repaired and back to normal. He charged us $329 for a complete lie. Also, was very adamant for us to not tell our insurance company much information. He wanted us only to tell them what he told us to tell them. I highly recommend research this company and highly recommend use a different leak detection service.

Your location A1 Arkansas Emergency Leak Detection & Water Remediation 6000 Walnut St, Little Rock, AR 72206 Contractor Richard Eagon 28 points DO NOT USE!!!!! Terrible service. Charles was very polite but that is the only thing nice I can say about his work. I used him cause we were without water and I needed someone to find the leak. (Everyone else was booked up for over a week) Charles showed up and proceeded to tell me about a reroute before he ever found the problem. He charged me 400 dollars when everyone else was charging 250 to 300 for a leak detection. Once I was able to get him to find said leak, he pinpointed it to the bathroom. He kept pushing the reroute and pressed me to file a claim. Basically to me he was looking for a paycheck. After he left I broke concrete in the bathroom. This would have totally been the cheaper route had he pinpointed the proper spot. This proved to be the wrong location. After a six foot run in the concrete I stopped. I found water but sadly no leak. I called Charles to tell him the above and he proceeded to tell me how I did everything wrong, then he told me that the manifold in the wall throws the sound. He also wanted me to give him my claim number so that he could send nationwide my bill. Mind you, this was after I had already paid him the 400 up front. Turns out when you hire an actual leak detection service, not only do they pinpoint the leak but they guarentee its in that location. Also both my insurance adjuster and American Leak Detection both laughed and proceeded to tell me about reasons this company is a bad company. American leak detection found my leak 20 feet away from where Charles pinpointed it. Don't be like me. Don't use this company. They are crooks. A1 Leak detection did a a very large job for me. It was during a stressful time that I had been diagnosed with kidney cancer and had to go into the hospital for surgery. They all worked around my schedule and did everything to help with the timing of everything. The work was completed and I was very pleased with the outcome. I would recommend them to anyone that need the service they provide...well mannered very professional. They operate in a spirit of excellence.
