I had been endlessly searching for a hair stylist that I felt comfortable with and trusted with my hair. I had scheduled and appointment after a haircut that I did not like (different salon and stylist) and was drawn to Michal’s bio on the District website. I was a little nervous on the day of the appointment, but Michal was so kind and listened to whatever I was rambling about when it came to my hair. She was so gentle, which is a huge plus for someone tender headed like me, and talked me through each step she was taking when it came to my haircut. tl;dr: District should be your one-stop shop for all self-care needs. I LOVE it!I followed Amy the aesthetician from another salon, because nobody comes close to her skills and knowledge of skincare. She helped me get my rosacea under control when I felt super hopeless about it! My skin and brows have never been better.Then I was introduced to Hillary, who fixed a terrible haircut that I got elsewhere, and is now my go-to gal. She is so talented, sweet, and worth the wait to get an appointment with her! The salon is bright and open and airy with an urban feel. This was my first visit and I was eager to meet Jolana after hearing such good feedback from a friend. She greeted me and sat me down to get a look at my mop and asked questions about what I wanted. I felt like she got it! And when she began cutting and thinning I could see and feel her expertise with her craft! I would definitely recommend Jolana and the salon. I love my new hairstyle and will be back in 8 weeks.Service: Blowdry
