The front staff were so helpful when scheduling me for my appointment! The techs were incredibly patient and gentle with my two anxious cats. Dr. Z was unphased by their hissing protests and handled them with such care! She talked though all my questions with me, helped me think through care options, and was completely supportive. I am so thankful for the care we received!

We are new to Birmingham and Homewood Animal Hospital. Our experience yesterday afternoon has made us a customer for life and we will tell everyone we know to use this veterinary hospital. Our 2 year dog woke up in the morning coughing and wouldn't eat, but otherwise seemed normal. When we returned home at 3:30pm he was panting, so we called Homewood AH and they brought him in right away. Dr. Higgenbotham was immediately concerned because his abdomen was tender, and she discovered by X-ray and ultrasound that his spleen was enlarged.
