I was scared to take in my 20 year old kitty to the vet, but we did survive the visit. This place was very helpful. Dr. Goulding was great! I'm very happy to have found this place. Thanks
Been bringing my cats here for 14 years. Won't take them anywhere else except in emergency!
UPDATE: Been bringing my cats here for ~18 years now. Alas, they aren’t all the same cats but the vets, vet techs and everyone else still take the best care of my babies. My girls had chronic conditions for about five years each (hyperthyroidism + CKD, and asthma) with these vets’ support, they still made it to 17. I moved to a different part of the city… it takes twice as long to get to VCA Shawnessy as it used to and there’s another VCA clinic a mere 5 minutes away. Nonetheless, I go to Shawnessy because I know and trust these people.
I have been a client of VCA Shawnessy for over a decade. The veterinarians and office staff in this clinic always go above and beyond the call of duty They treat my 3 muppets so well to the point that my dogs actually barge in front of me (not allowed) to get in the front door first. Dr. Goulding has been seeing us since we got our first pup and she’s incredible! She’s thorough, kind, and always explains things (both good and bad) to me. Dr. Blighe slid in when I had lots of skin issues with my eldest dog (his extra courses in dermatology was comforting) and more recently Dr. Sauder helped me with my devil dog who eats all the things.
