I found Meinholz with a Google search and read the many positive reviews. I can tell you, those reviews didn't lie! I would highly recommend Travis to anyone. He responded very quickly to me. (I emailed him about a broken torsion spring at 10:15pm and he responded before 6am the next morning!) I also had Travis replace two old, malfunctioning openers while he was here doing the spring repair. His communication was excellent. He was honest, provided solid recommendations, and did not try to sell me anything beyond what I needed. His prices were fair and his work was high-quality. He left the job site clean. Couldn't ask for a better experience!

I called Travis (Meinholz...a local business out of Cross Plains/Madison) and he was able to come out and fix my GD spring within an hour, and very reasonably too, compared to other quotes I was getting from A1 (scam?!!) or even the previous company I'd worked with (Precision Door of Madison) who replaced just the cables a couple of years ago and it cost more ($350) than replacing this spring. From now on, for anything "garage door", Travis will be the guy.

Called Meinholz around 7:30am, was told they'd be available after 9:00. Just after 9:30 Travis arrived, he replaced broken springs and was done by 10:00. Garage door is now better balanced than it was before it broke. Price was very fair. I think that's about as good as it gets for this kind of service.
