Today (April 17) around 12:45pm heading east on Richmond Highway, my son was driving to accumulate hours for his permit so he is prepared for his driver’s test. We were in the outer lane and going the speed limit but the Heritage Contracting van behind us kept tailing us closely and wanted us to go faster. I had a bright neon ‘Student Driver’ magnet on the back of my car to notify drivers that my son is behind the wheel. However, that did not matter. After tailing us closely for a mile, the van immediately switched lanes and cut in front of my son so closely that it would have hit us if I didn’t tell my son to quickly brake.
