It’s really dark in the salon and it makes it very difficult to get a good look at the end result. Especially when it comes to color. I wish there was a way to message the salon so that the stylist could call or talk to you at their convenience.Services: Hair coloring

Absolutely wonderful!! Richard knows exactly how to cut and style my hair just to my liking and I always feel like a new person. Great place with warm and friendly people. Thank you Miles Ahead.

I have used this salon and the same stylist every week since 2017. Ten stylists, including the owner, work here, and each is respectful and experienced. The salon cares for a variety of folks, young and old, professional and blue-collar. No cookie-cutter haircuts and styles here! Owner Tommy Miles has been in the hair styling business for the last two decades, and Miles Ahead Saloon has been open for a little over 12 years. I moved to Roanoke in 2007 and immediately started to look for a hairstylist. I can honestly say that I find that Miles Ahead prices are competitive.
