I’ve been going to their shop for years (before they moved it to Norfolk) and I knew immediately when I walked in that it was different than other shops in the best way possible. I have always felt welcome at Colley Ave and able to express my likes and dislikes with Logan my tattoo artist. He always takes the time to make sure I’m getting what i wanted and you’ll never feel pressured to get something on your body you don’t love. I always recommend people come here when they ask me about a good shop to go to in the area. “I went here on Flash Sale day on FRIDAY THE 13TH YEAH BABY- and my form got lost in the chaos. Not only were the individuals at the front very helpful and charming, but immediately rectified the situation with a new form, kind smiles, and gracious patience.My tattoo artist, Jianna, was a joy to work with. Not only was she quick, but did an amazing job running a first timer through the after care and process of a tattoo during what must have been a very busy day for her. Absolutely coming back: wonderful people, wonderful artists, chill af vibe.“

“Drove 4.5 hrs from MD & it was worth it!! Doris was so nice and communicative. She walked me through every tattoo, placement, size, etc she even made suggestions on placement based on future tattoos. Love the studio space! The decor is on point! And it’s clean and easy to find. Would definitely recommend and I will be back!“

“***UPDATED***I’ve received four tattoos so far by this company, one from Whiskey River and three by Norfolk Ink. I love all the artwork so far. One of my tattoos was original artwork designed my me and tuned or modified by the artist (Andre). This tattoo is probably my favorite, Andre’s artwork captured my idea exactly how I imagined it. The second was from a picture my son took with a couple different ideas from the internet thrown in and pieced together by the artist (AJ). My son and I both got that tattoo; AJ did an awesome job. The third was the compilation of a couple different images my wife and I submitted to the artist (Rama) and we both got. The fourth tattoo was gracefully tweaked image my daughter found, completed by the artist Beck. My daughter and I both got this one, and although I like the shading he did on my daughter’s arm a little more, Beck still did a bang up job on both of us.My only issue with an artists was with Rama. As a person, he seemed pretty cool. It was his music choice and the volume at which he played it that was rather uncomfortable for my wife and I. The tattoos he did though look pretty cool; my wife and I like them.“

“The majority of my tattoo’s were done here by Lon and had the BEST experience. From the start everyone was great and welcoming. I don't think I've felt more relaxed while being tattooed than I was here and I definitely plan on coming back for more, I would highly recommend this place to anyone.“
