“I couldn't be more pleased with the quick response and speedy service we received from Lucey Plumbing. Last month, I got a whiff of gas in my home and quickly contacted Va Natural Gas. Sure enough, we had a leak on our side of our meter and our gas had to be shut off. We rely on gas for hot water and heat and, with temps below freezing in the evenings, we couldn't go many days without. (Well, we could, but our infant daughter not so much!) My dad recommended John Lucey so we called him around 6pm. Even after hours, he responded and informed us they could be there first thing the next morning. His son was out early to begin the work. Turns out we had not 1, but 9 small leaks under our home in old gas lines. They worked tirelessly to get everything handled before the city was to return the following morning to inspect repairs. They also came back the following morning to make sure they were here and everything went well with the inspection. We expected the job to cost us twice what it actually did, so I would say his prices are fair (not that I have much to compare to!). But we were so blown away by how fast they could help us and how quickly and professionally they did so. I would be happy to recommend Lucey Plumbing to anyone.“

“VERY Thorough in the presales process; taking time to make sure they understand what's important to you and then making sure you understand what you're getting and how it will work for you. I loved the fact that they came out to do a walk through and actually see everything rather than just have me send pictures and then charge me thousands more. It takes a couple of hours in the presales process but the end result was a precise solution.The install went perfectly ... they were scheduled for three days but were able to do it in two. We even ran into a gas line problem that their installer (a certified gas line installer) was willing and able to help track down and help us get repaired - without delaying the process. He even checked back with us to make sure the repair went okay and that we were satisfied. Very concerned about doing a great job. At the end they showed us how to operate everything and what to expect next.When electrical and gas inspectors came out they found a few small labeling issues and Smith & Keene came out right away and took care of it, making sure all inspections passed. I'm glad to have my generator in place as we live in an area prone to power failures; particularly during storm season.I highly recommend giving Smith & Keene a call if you're considering options. I saw a TV ad during a time I was looking and when I called, that started a great relationship. I'm glad I called them. I got a better generator than the other option I was looking at and I paid about 30% less for the full service getting it in place.“

“We had a circuit breaker keep blowing and would not reset. This was an issue since it took out a part of the house. I called Conyers and talked to them over the phone since it was a Sunday and sent a pic and a small video. They walked me through a quick troubleshooting, and low and behold, the circuit breaker above was not fully set, causing the issue. It was a Sunday, and it would have been an emergency call. Phenomenal Service!!!! It is hard to fund a company that would help you over the phone and save you money.“

“When our home was built, MEP installed the HVAC system. I thought they were an out of town contractor who had won the bid for our neighborhood and I didn’t realize they had local offices so I hired a different company to do seasonal HVAC routine maintenance. That was a big mistake.. The other company sent a young man who upsold me every time he came to service the unit. This included convincing me, a retiree, that my 2 year old unit had lost 2lbs of coolant to which he charged me almost $500.00!! My neighbor told me that MEP had a local office and because they installed the unit he had them do all of the routine servicing and maintenance. I called them immediately and set up a contract for regular service at a very reasonable price. I haven’t looked back. The technicians come out, check the unit and have not once tried to upsell me on anything. They are courteous and knowledgeable and clean up after themselves. My most recent visit included a recommendation to clean part of the interior of the unit but he did not make it seem “life or death”. He added it to our next routine visit and gave us a ballpark estimate of what it may cost. I recommend MEP; very professional, knowledgeable and reasonable without the need to upsell the customer. That’s the way to grow and maintain a good business!“
