    I never knew that getting a haircut could be turned into a fun activity until I went to Jed's for the first time very recently. Fun atmosphere. I loved all the black&white photos which have been made into huge collages on both the west and east walls. My stylist was very personable. We gabbed the whole time. The haircut came out excellent. Loved that vibrating-massage thingy that he rubbed back and forth forth from shoulder to shoulder. The heat application to my neck just prior to shaving it. The old-time arcade machines from the 80s.     Been in SLC for a year, tried a bunch of places, I'm sad to say that I finally found a solid shop 3 weeks before moving.

    I stumbled onto this place because I saw an arcade while getting ice cream with my wife at Normal next door. Made an appointment (day of) a week later, and was assigned to Katie.

    I told her what I was looking for and she quickly went to work. Really happy with the result, I can be a bit picky, and I appreciate it when someone cares about their craft.

    Always super friendly staff and great service!

    I had received a disappointing haircut from a barbershop right before this, but April made quick work of that mess and gave me a clean-up that looked 100× better. She graciously charged me less than normal since it was a quick clean-up. Thanks JBS staff!!
