I wanted to say how pleased we have been with Elk Contracting roof repairs here on Mistletoe. They seem to have a good feel for preservation within the Beacon Hill Neighborhood Conservation District standards, and Mike is a good estimator.
I had seen some other roof jobs Mike had done in our neighborhood, and had him look at ours for hail damage. He made notes with pictures that I used with the insurance adjuster. We qualified for a new roof and after answering my questions over a couple of days, I picked out the color and shingle weight and work began.
I think any roofing company is only as good as the people they have working, and elk constructing had a really good crew at my house. The roof edges were even, and I didn’t notice any “ridges” or “bumps” in the shingles…. I was very happy with the job …. My family started down the road with Elk Contracting Roofing and we’re 100% satisfied. Nick and his team explained the entire process and submitted all the necessary paperwork to the insurance adjuster. Nick also assigned one of his guys to facilitate the roof replacement. Cameron was always available if we had questions. At the conclusion of the job Cameron ensured our property around the job site was like it was before the job. In fact, I only found 3 nails.
