“I decided to book my reservation with May after reading the reviews here on Yelp and I am soooo glad I didn't attempt to chop my hair myself. After being cooped in because of Covid, I was worried about being in close proximity for my appointment. After texting May and booking, I received her salon policy via text and it detailed all of the precautions she takes to keep her clients safe. It's nice to know that she is taking the pandemic seriously and truly cares about her clients. My hair is super curly, fine and had major damage from a coloring process done at another salon. May took the time to listen to what I wanted and gave me pricing upfront for services. She kept in close communication via text and this was extremely helpful because I've never been to the salon before. My appointment was started on-time and we both wore masks throughout the duration of my services. My hair was washed, cut and blow dried straight. I am VERY happy with the way she handled my coils and listened to my suggestions on how to keep them from becoming a knotted mess. My cut was perfectly blended and I have decided to make appointments with her part of my regular routine. Bottom line - I will have her care for my hair going forward. I came home, wrapped my hair and let it down a few hours ago to see if stayed straight. Yes Indeed! It's PERFECT!“
